Ronan Analytics ("we", "us", "our") is a Brisbane-based data analytics and AI advisory consultancy. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently.

Where we deliver services under a contract with a Commonwealth, state or local government agency, we also comply with the privacy obligations in that contract, including the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) where it applies.

 

2. What personal information we collect

 

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us. It may include:

 

• Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number, organisation, role and the content of your message when you use our online enquiry form, email or call us.

• Clients and partners: contact and business details of people we work with, and records of our communications and engagements. Contractors and associates: contact details, qualifications, work history and payment details needed to engage specialist associates. Workshop, training and event participants: names, organisations, contact details and feedback.

• Website usage: technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and time on site, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

 

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, or political opinions) through our website. Please do not include sensitive information in an enquiry.

 

3. Information we handle on behalf of clients

 

Some of our projects involve surveys, research, data analysis or evaluation on behalf of clients. In that work, the client is generally responsible for the personal information, and we collect, use, store and destroy it only as instructed by the client and in line with our contract, the applicable privacy law and any relevant ethics approvals. Participants in those projects will receive a separate collection notice explaining how their information is handled.

We collect personal information directly from you wherever practical, for example when you complete our enquiry form, email or phone us, attend one of our sessions, or engage us for services. We may also collect business contact details from your organisation, a colleague who refers you, or publicly available sources such as professional networking sites and tender documents.

Some of our service providers store data on servers outside Australia. In particular, our website and enquiry form are hosted by Wix.com, which may store data in the United States and other countries.

 

We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the APPs. For client projects, we follow any data location requirements in our contract, including keeping data in Australia where required.
